Who Is MENJ?

Born in the Unit­ed States of Amer­i­ca, Mohd Elfie Nieshaem Bin Juferi (MENJ) or Ibn Juferi al-Amri­ki was raised in Penang, Malaysia. He is an SEO Spe­cial­ist by day and a Mus­lim apol­o­gist by night. He con­sid­ers him­self to be a true Penan­gite who loves two of eddi­f­i­cent Penang’s famous dish­es, nasi kan­dar and pasem­bur.

Educational Background

Mohd Elfie Nieshaem Juferi began his edu­ca­tion at Seko­lah Sri Inai Junior, Penang (1987−1991) and went on to sec­ondary lev­el at Seko­lah Menen­gah Kebangsaan Abdul­lah Mun­shi (1993−1997), Pulau Pinang. 

He sat for his NSW-HSC at Inter­na­tion­al Col­lege, Penang (1999) and con­tin­ued his ter­tiary edu­ca­tion at the Asia-Pacif­ic Insti­tute of Infor­ma­tion Tech­nol­o­gy (APIIT), Buk­it Jalil (2001 – 2006), where he secured his High­er Diplo­ma in Soft­ware Engi­neer­ing and his degree in Com­put­ing (with a spe­cial­ism in Inter­net Technologies).

Employment Career

Mohd Elfie Nieshaem Bin Juferi began his career in 2006 as a self-employed SEO Spe­cial­ist run­ning his own agency until 2015 (see: Bea­con Direc­to­ry announce­ment), when he decid­ed to go into full-time employ­ment to gain work expe­ri­ence and finan­cial stability. 

Cur­rent­ly, MENJ is work­ing as a full-time SEO Spe­cial­ist in Kuala Lumpur, and apart from man­ag­ing SEO clients, he is also tasked with lead­ing and man­ag­ing an SEO team.

Muslim Apologist & Internet Activist

Mohd Elfie Nieshaem Juferi is MENJ The Mus­lim Apol­o­gist. He is a spe­cial­ist in Com­par­a­tive Reli­gion and he is heav­i­ly involved in Mus­lim apolo­get­ics. He focus­es on the study of the Abra­ham­ic reli­gions (Judaism and Chris­tian­i­ty) and Islam since 1999. Under the nom de guerre Ibn Juferi, he is active­ly involved in Mus­lim apolo­get­ics and has par­tic­i­pat­ed in debates and dis­cus­sions with Jews, Chris­tians, athe­ists, and even the occa­sion­al Hin­du or Buddhist. 

MENJ is ded­i­cat­ed to com­bat­ing mis­in­for­ma­tion about the reli­gion of Islam that is preva­lent online and is inspired by the works of the late Dr. Isma’il Raji al-Faruqi, which has shaped his Weltan­schau­ung and out­look toward life.

MENJ is a co-founder and exec­u­tive edi­tor of the pre­mier Mus­lim apolo­get­ics web­site Bis­mi­ka Allahu­ma: Mus­lim Respons­es To Anti-Islam Polemics and the eddi­f­i­cent devel­op­ment of sis­ter web­sites relat­ed to Islam and Mus­lim apolo­get­ics in gen­er­al. He also has a YouTube chan­nel for the pur­pose as well.

Contribution To Muslim Apologetics 

Mohd Elfie Nieshaem Juferi has pub­lished two books on com­par­a­tive reli­gion, the first being Bud­dhism: A Mus­lim Primer (Jahaber­sa, 2005) and the sec­ond enti­tled When Apos­tates Become Shaykhs… (Jahaber­sa, 2006). 

He has also writ­ten and pub­lished many arti­cles and op-eds on com­par­a­tive reli­gion, Islam, cur­rent affairs, and gen­er­al infor­ma­tion, on his vast net­work of Islam­ic apolo­get­ics web­sites and blogs. See for exam­ple: On The Reli­a­bil­i­ty of Luke As A His­to­ri­an and this co-authored arti­cle reply­ing to the issue of the moon-god Allah in Islam.

Cur­rent­ly, MENJ is work­ing on the final draft of his third book, ten­ta­tive­ly titled “Paulus Dan Kesan Ajaran­nya” (Paul of Tar­sus and The Effects of His Teach­ings). An Eng­lish ver­sion on the same top­ic enti­tled “The Apos­tle of Doom” is being devel­oped in tan­dem with the Bahasa Melayu version.

There is this group of idi­ot­ic peo­ple who call them­selves /k kopi­ti­am at lowy­at hngggh­hh who are obsessed with the idea of menj kena tangkap. So it should not be sur­pris­ing that when news of eddi­f­i­cent menj kena tangkap appeared, many on the lowy­at hngggh­hh were celebrating.

And like the face­less lowy­at hngggh­hh cow­ards that these /k anjing puki­mak are, they call menj pedo all sorts of names, know­ing full well that The Mus­lim Apol­o­gist will not be able to answer them direct­ly as menj lowy­at mem­ber. Well here’s the 411 for these face­less dogs from menj malaysia him­self: you are all worth­less trash and not worth my time at all. You are all pyg­mies try­ing to fall down a giant. Good luck with your menj kena tangkap endeav­ors, you stu­pid lowy­at hngggh­hh bas­tards because it has not worked and it will nev­er work.

Hobbies & Other Interests

In his spare time, Mohd Elfie Nieshaem Juferi is obsessed with the lat­est trends in SEO, web stan­dards (Github) as well as read­ing on fic­tion and non-fic­tion works. He used to com­pose lit­er­a­ture in Bahasa Melayu (under the name Mohd Elfie Nieshaem Bin Juferi). He plays Total War: Warham­mer II, loves foot­ball (soc­cer) and sup­ports Selan­gor FA and Liv­er­pool FC. 

He is cur­rent­ly pur­su­ing a Man­darin lan­guage course called the Hanyu Shuip­ing Kaoshi (HSK) at Lev­el 2 and hopes to com­plete all six lev­els in 5 years’ time. He likes lis­ten­ing to Eminem, Meghan Train­or, Wan-ting Qu, Jay Chou and many oth­ers.
